New Construction Phase 1 Inspection ••• LEARN MORE $300
The first phase of the new construction inspection process starts when the home’s foundation make-up has been complete, and the builder is ready to pour concrete. The purpose of the pre-pour inspection is to help spot-check the overall quality of work before the concrete is poured over the excavated beams, reinforcing bars, plumbing and post-tension cable system.
-
New Construction Phase 2 Inspection ••• LEARN MORE $300
The second phase of the new construction process is conducted when the structure has reached the stage when drywall and insulation are ready to be installed. The purpose of the framing or pre-covered inspection is to identify defective or sub-standard installation practices before the installation of the exterior cladding, interior insulation, and drywall occurs. Once those materials cover the interior and exterior of the home, the opportunity for inspection is gone! You do not want to miss the phase!
-
New Construction Final Phase Inspection ••• LEARN MORE $400
The 3rd and final phase of the new construction process is conducted, generally around the time the builder is prepared to do a final walk-through with the home buyer. The purpose of the final inspection is to ensure the major systems and components in the home are installed in accordance with common model building standards and there are no observable major defects present prior to your closing on the home with the builder. The final inspection is vital and highly recommended. As an impartial, third party home inspection company, we do not perform repair work and therefore have no vested interest in discovering or concealing problems. With a Final Phase New Home Construction Inspection, you simply provide our written inspection report to your builder complete with color photos and an easy to understand narrative report; pointing out the problems we’ve identified. The builder then is obligated to correct any deficiencies found. -- Now includes a Full Thermal Imaging of every room in the house!
